Form Architects
An award-winning studio needed a portfolio that let its work breathe.
A look at the Form Architects interface, designed by Apex.
01 — Project Overview
The brief
Form Architects is an award-winning studio whose stunning projects were trapped in a cramped, slow gallery. The work deserved a gallery wall; instead it was crammed into thumbnails that undersold the studio’s craft.
The goal was a minimal, image-first portfolio that let each project breathe, paired with deeper project stories that conveyed the thinking behind the buildings — and a clear path for prospective clients to start a conversation.
02 — Project Execution
How we did it
We reviewed the full portfolio to find the through-line in the studio’s work, then defined a minimal, image-first structure with rich, scrollable project narratives. The interface recedes almost entirely — a quiet stone accent and generous negative space let the architecture command attention.
We built full-bleed project pages with buttery, progressive image loading so large photography never blocks the experience, then launched with press features and a refined inquiry funnel.

03 — Project Outcome
The results
Project enquiries rose 72% and visitors spent 61% longer on the site, immersed in the work. Portfolio views tripled as the gallery became something people wanted to explore rather than skim.
